My husband, Michael, and I are now officially what is known as "empty nesters". Our two wonderful daughters [Bianca and Heidi] finished university, left home and are getting on with their own lives.

Mick and I keep busy with our company and with our individual interests. Mick is a very keen golfer and [by default] a poodle enthusiast. 

I worked my way through the grades to compete at official FEI level dressage, decided a change was needed and I got interested in training and competing at canine obedience. It was through my obedience instructor that I got started in conformation showing. She convinced me to show Lily, a toy poodle I was trialling in Novice class.

 It took a lot of  persuading - I was sure that I wouldn't enjoy "all of that fluffing about". Once started I found I loved grooming and presenting a nice poodle. I have campaigned six of my own dogs to their titles and been involved with a number of others. 

We are a small kennel and do very limited breeding. Our dogs live with us and we delight in raising our puppies in our home. We DNA test our dogs for PRCD PRA and value soundness, both physical and mental.
